Nevergreen Pools installs and services pool automation & control in Scottsdale: programming and repair for Pentair IntelliCenter and EasyTouch, Hayward OmniLogic and OmniHub, and Jandy iAquaLink systems, plus retrofitting automation onto pads that never had it, so pumps, heaters, lights, and valves run on a schedule and from an app instead of by hand at the pad.
Call us if the app shows the equipment offline, if the pump keeps running around the clock because the schedule stopped holding, if the spa or water feature valves will not switch from the app or the panel, if the salt cell output cannot be adjusted and the water swings from too little chlorine to too much, if the pH or ORP readings on the panel do not match a hand test kit anymore, if the control panel at the pad went dark or froze after a power flicker during a monsoon storm, or if lights and features will not respond to the schedule at all.
We serve Scottsdale in partnership with Beyond Pool Cleaning, a pool service company based nearby. Call to get a technician out to the pad, or book your first visit online.

Automation problems tend to surface in spring, before the heat sets in and before seasonal residents leave for the summer and need to run the pool from a phone instead of standing at the pad. On an install or retrofit, we start at the pad and check what is already there before we run a single wire. Older pads built before automation was standard often have a single-speed pump, a mechanical timer, and valves that only turn by hand, so we run the low-voltage and communication wiring the automation system needs, mount the control panel, and wire in relays for the pump, heater, lights, and any valve actuators. If the pump is not already a variable-speed unit, we replace it with one, since the automation system needs a variable-speed pump to run the filtration, cleaning, spa, and water feature schedules at different speeds instead of one fixed setting. Many pads already have a salt system and a variable-speed pump on them, since automation is common enough in this area that we are usually integrating with existing equipment instead of replacing everything on the pad.
Once the hardware is in, we program the system itself: Pentair IntelliCenter or EasyTouch, Hayward OmniLogic or OmniHub, or Jandy iAquaLink, depending on what is already on the pad or what the homeowner wants to run. We set filtration schedules around the pool's actual volume and the season, since a pool loses more water to evaporation and needs longer run times in summer than it does in winter. We program the heater to hold a set temperature instead of cycling on and off, set valve schedules for spas and water features, and set lighting schedules. For pools with in-floor cleaning systems, common on resort-style pools with water features, we program the cleaning cycle into the same schedule so it runs on its own instead of needing a manual switch. If the system includes pH or ORP sensing, we calibrate the sensors against a hand test kit and set the dosing or the salt cell output to hold a target range automatically.
Before we leave, we connect the app on the homeowner's phone, confirm it controls the equipment from outside the property and not just standing at the pad, and walk through the schedule so the homeowner knows how to make a change without calling us for something simple, like adding an extra hour of spa time for a weekend.
A pool that runs itself is the point. Filtration, heating, and cleaning happen on schedule without anyone touching a valve, the app shows real time status instead of a guess, and pH or salt output stays in range instead of drifting until the water turns cloudy or scale starts forming on the tile line. For homeowners who leave for the summer, or for HOA-governed properties where someone else is checking the pool, that means the system can be watched and adjusted from anywhere instead of waiting for a problem to show up in person. For HOA-governed properties, schedules can also be set to keep pump noise and visible activity inside the hours the association allows.
Left alone, an old or unprogrammed system costs money and creates problems it should prevent. A pump running on one fixed speed around the clock burns more electricity than a scheduled variable-speed pump running at the right speed for each task. A heater cycling on and off instead of holding a set point wears out faster. A salt cell running unmonitored can overproduce and etch plaster, or underproduce and let the water turn green after a monsoon storm blows dust and debris into the pool overnight.
