Nevergreen Pools offers full-service and chemical-only pool maintenance plans in Folsom, CA, with seasonal care and equipment tracking built in.
Nevergreen Pools provides pool maintenance in Folsom, covering full-service plans, chemical-only plans, seasonal startups and shutdowns, and tracking the condition of filters, cells, and equipment over time so the pool stays ready to use without the homeowner managing it.
Call us if a bag of balancer or scale remover someone already added has worn off and the water is out of balance again within days, if the tile line keeps growing back a ring of scale no matter how often you brush it, if the plaster has pitting that wasn't there last season, if the pump is a single-speed unit that's starting to hum, grind, or cycle on and off, if the sand or DE filter pressure climbs again within days of a cleaning, if the water level is dropping faster than June through September heat can explain, if chlorine reads fine in the morning and is gone by afternoon all summer, or if oak leaves and spring pollen are filling the skimmer baskets faster than you can keep up with.
Nevergreen Pools is a licensed pool company based in Shingle Springs, California, serving the Sacramento region. Call to get a technician scheduled, or book your first visit online.

The first visit starts with a full water test against the fill water, since the city supply coming off Folsom Lake runs soft, with low calcium hardness and low alkalinity. Low alkalinity lets pH swing in both directions, and pH that drifts unchecked etches plaster and corrodes the metal in a heater's exchanger if it isn't caught early. We check the plaster or pebble finish for pitting or scale, inspect the filter media, test the pump and motor, check the heater, and in the newer subdivisions south of Highway 50, check the salt cell for scale buildup. We also log the age of everything on the equipment pad, since a lot of pools in the older 1980s and 1990s neighborhoods are still running an original single-speed pump and a sand or DE filter that's near the end of its life. That gives us a condition report before we set a chemistry program, not after.
From there we build the plan around what the pool actually needs. Full service covers everything below. Chemical-only service covers testing, dosing, and a monthly equipment check, with the homeowner handling the brushing and basket cleaning in between. Either way, the plan tracks the same things over time: when the filter was last cleaned, when the salt cell was last cleaned or tested, and how old the pump, heater, and filter are, so replacement is a planned decision instead of an emergency one. Service also shifts with the season. These pools mostly run May through October, so spring visits focus on startup, bringing the water back into balance and checking what sat idle over winter, and fall visits focus on slowing the schedule down and protecting the equipment through the months it won't be used.
Summer visits run differently than the rest of the year. Highs from June through September push into the high 90s and past 100, and chlorine burns off fast in that heat while evaporation pulls the water level down between visits. We dose based on that day's reading and the week's forecast instead of a fixed amount, and we check the water level every visit so a pump is never allowed to run dry.
A pool on a working plan holds clear water and steady pH between visits, the tile line stays free of scale, the filter holds its pressure instead of climbing week to week, and the equipment on the pad lasts out its expected life instead of failing early. Skip the maintenance and the costs show up later and bigger: unbalanced water etches plaster permanently, scale builds on a heater's exchanger until it needs replacing years early, and a pump or filter pushed past its service life usually fails in the middle of summer, when going without it is hardest. Call us to get a technician out for a first visit, or book online and we'll set the plan up from there.
